Bayanat AI PLC reports record 2022 financial performance with 115% YoY revenue growth

Note:These results are unaudited, preliminary and subject to finalization of the audit of BayanatAI PLC consolidated financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2022. Bayanat AI PLC (ADX: BAYANAT), a leading provider of AI-powered geospatial solutions, today reported its preliminary financial results for the full year 2022, reaching AED 788 million in revenue, with a net profit of AED 202 million for the year. FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE Bayanat’s FY-2022 revenue reached AED 788 million as compared to AED 367 million for the previous year, marking a substantial increase of 115%. Moreover, the Company reported FY-2022 net profit of AED 202 million, an increase of 110% as compared to AED 96 million for the previous year. Bayanat’s total assets increased to AED 1,508 million during the year ended 2022 as compared to AED 474 million for the period of the previous year, with an increase of 218%. Bayanat’s equity increased to AED 1,082 million during the year ended 2022 as compared to AED 255 million for the prior year, with an increase of 323%. Commenting on the results, His Excellency Tareq Abdulraheem Al Hosani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bayanat, said: “We are pleased to announce a promising financial performance for FY2022. In 2022, we more than doubled revenue and profits for Bayanat, and going forward into 2023, we remain committed to unlocking growth and value for our customers, shareholders, and our community. The Company’s Board of Directors (Board of Directors or Board) has the honor to inform the shareholders of the opening of the nomination for membership of the Company’s Board of Directors, during the period from Friday 5th of August 2022 to Monday 15th of August 2022. Bayanat unveils fleet of Autonomous taxis at Abu Dhabi Smart City Summit

Bayanat unveiled its new fleet of autonomous taxis at the Abu Dhabi Smart City Summit under the brand name TXAI. The ongoing phase one sees five TXAI branded vehicles operating on Yas Island, transporting passengers between nine stops. Phase two will include more TXAI vehicles in multiple locations across Abu Dhabi. Although the vehicles are driverless, a safety officer is present in the driving seat during the trial phase. Bayanat announces plan to launch the UAE’s first ‘HAPS’ stratospheric flight at Dubai Airshow

Bayanat announced at the Dubai Air Show its plans to launch a maiden flight of its High Altitude Pseudo Satellite (HAPS), a remotely piloted and solar powered aircraft. This flight will mark the first time such a satellite has flown in the UAE and will represent one of just a few completed HAPS launches worldwide. The initial test flight will demonstrate HAPS’ diverse operational uses, and showcase its latest technology, which is powered by renewable and carbon negative energy. This UAE innovation is enabling a new class of environmentally friendly satellites to fly at high altitudes for extended periods of time, whilst transmitting premium geospatial data in real time from the stratosphere.

Speaking on the panel ‘Multimodal Mobility: The Digital Fix for a Connected Tomorrow’ under the Future Mobility Track, Hasan was joined by Harj Dhaliwal, Managing Director, Middle East and India, Virgin Hyperloop; Jaideep Dhanoa, Co-Founder and CEO, FENIX; Lucky La Riccia, Vice President and Head of Digital Services, Ericsson Middle East and Africa; and Thierry Sabbagh, Managing Director, Nissan Middle East. Bayanat signs reseller agreement with Satellogic

Bayanat has signed an agreement to resell Satellogic products in the UAE. Satellogic is an Argentine company specializing in Earth-observing satellites, and the agreement allows Bayanat to access 17 commercial NewSat satellites operating in a sun-synchronous low Earth orbit, and 4 daily revisits of any point of interest.

Bayanat signs Memorandum of Understanding with ICEYE

As part of the AESAR Mission “Satellite Programme”, Bayanat has signed an MoU with Finnish company, ICEYE, a market leading developer and manufacturer of small satellites equipped with synthetic aperture radar. As part of the MoU, Bayanat and ICEYE will discuss the use of a constellation of five ICEYE satellites; the launch of such satellites; procurement of LEOP (Launch and Early Operation Phase) and orbit commissioning services; and provision of ground segment, training services and support and maintenance services.

As part of the expansion of Bayanat’s strategic partnership model with renowned academic institutes, Bayanat has signed an MoU with the University of Sharjah, with the aim of strengthening cooperation in the fields of education, research & development and staff training.

Bayanat signs cooperation agreement with Department of Municipalities and Transport

Under this agreement, we’ll cooperate with DMT in the trial operations of autonomous passenger vehicles in Abu Dhabi. Bayanat will provide comprehensive support to the program, including vehicle safety testing, central security and operation management platform, as well as overseeing the autonomous vehicle operations for the purpose of complying with traffic laws and its executive regulations in the UAE.
